As Program Development and Quality Assurance Director you will provide leadership to the program development and quality assurance processes of World Vision Sudan National Office (NO). Program Development and Quality Assurance Director (PDQAD) is a key position within the NO and as such is expected to be hands on and provide leadership, managerial, and technical supports to program specialists in WASH, FSL, Child Care and Gender Development, Health and Nutrition, and Accountability, Monitoring, and Evaluation in developing proposals and conducting monitoring, reporting, and evaluation activities.
Requirements include:
- Master’s Degree in relevant field, preferably related to international development with focus on rural dynamics.
- Extensive INGO experience in fragile contexts – at leadership as well as technical levels.
- 10 years of experience in program development, monitoring, and evaluation at a senior level with an international NGOs – solid experience in technical as well leadership experience in program designing, fund raising, monitoring, and evaluation is extremely important.
- Excellent project management and development skills and thorough understanding of participatory community development approaches/models.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, including proposal development and report-writing skills.
